Former President Donald Trump has declared that he believes abortion laws should be left to the states. In a social media video, the former president also stressed there should be exceptions in which abortion would be permitted.

Details of a proposed hostage cease-fire deal have emerged in the Israel–Hamas war. The United States has warned Israel against carrying out a full-scale military operation in Gaza’s crowded city of Rafah, but Israel’s Prime Minister has declared that a date has been set.
